Albany is one of the most south west points of Western Australia. It is historically a very significant town (not apart from the fact that I grew up here). There are a bunch of great walks you can do, amazing beaches, great surf spots and a rich arts culture. You can also find some great wineries and visit the wind farm powering a large proportion of Albany's energy requirements
